Meet the Author

I am a former educator who has spent a large portion of my life traveling. I love to write about experiences in different cultures as a way to encourage curiosity and excitement. My first book, THE PARROT ON THE PORCH, is based on my own childhood adventures and mishaps in Panama.

When I’m not writing (outside with a notebook and a pen), I spend my time in the kitchen trying new out new recipes, playing board games with my husband and two teenagers, or traveling on grand adventures. I love to learn, play, and explore, but most of all I love to connect and share stories. Learn More
