Meet the Author
Joy Vigil is a former educator who has spent a large portion of her life traveling. She loves to write books about experiences in different cultures as a way to encourage curiosity and excitement. Her first book, THE PARROT ON THE PORCH, is based on her own childhood adventures and mishaps in Panama.
When sheās not writing (outside with a notebook and a pen), Joy spends her time in the kitchen trying new out new recipes, playing board games with her husband and two teenagers, or traveling on grand adventures. She loves to learn, play, and explore, but most of all she loves to connect and share stories. Learn More
